Just reviewed the movie “What the Health,” (five times) and found it interesting. The documentary addressed some curious issues and raised some important questions that we will discuss in a series of comments here.
The movie can be viewed on Netflix, or for free at the following What the Health website: https://www.whatthehealthfilm.com/ Diabetes, Heart Disease, and Osteoporosis, among other things were highlighted.
A principle message throughout the film was how we benefit from reducing our consumption of meat and increasing our intake of fruits and vegetables. It looks like cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and osteoporosis can all be reduced or improved with a better diet.
So, here are SOME of the important questions raised in the film:
- Do we put the same money and energy into Disease Prevention that we put into Symptom Suppression?
- Does our Government fund marketing for foods that are unhealthy?
- What are Ag-Gag Laws, and are we free to discuss what is good and bad for us?
- Does the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act prioritize big business over our welfare?
Please let us know if you have any thoughts or answers to the questions above.
