If we want Big Government to stay out of our lives… If we don’t want to be told we have to wear a Mask to protect others from COVID, how can we support the Government deciding if or when we can have an abortion? Both issues arguably result in the preventable death of another human. Is there an inconsistency in our thinking here? Maybe the Government should not interfere with a person’s decision to wear a mask, a person’s Right to Choose, or a Person’s Right to Die. Perhaps there are times when for the good of the many, an individual’s rights must give way to the greater good. What is individual liberty anyway? What do you think?
